Our Young People are soon to be taught the tricks of the trade at Michelin star restaurant Woodspeen in Newbury, Berkshire
Cooking fresh and healthy meals is a vital life skill for independent living and is a core part of our development programme that our young people undertake as they transition from foster care to adults. John Campbell, who opened the WoodSpeen restaurant located in Speen, Newbury, in 2014, will be providing our young people with two cookery sessions. This will give them an amazing opportunity to learn from a top chef! We are so grateful to John for giving such valuable time to support us and our Young People are really looking forward to meeting you, and learning from you, in May.
You can read more about this here in Newbury Today online.
Also a very big thank you to all of our supporters, especially KPMG, who have helped us to fund a new kitchen so that our young people have a pleasant environment to practice and use their new skills.
