A past resident who lived at Cornerstone 5 years ago, has done amazingly well since leaving us going from strength to strength. He is now a qualified mechanic and has just last week won a prize for being 3rd overall in his class B auto-solo championship.
Congratulations from everyone at the charity, we are all very proud of what he has achieved since leaving us and know he is going to go on and achieve even more great things in the future.

A BIG thank you to Peter from Kennet Blinds for the lovely donation of kitchen blinds for both our charity house's, and also for fitting them too.
This is one of our new residents volunteering at the wildlife trust on his first week living at Cornerstone. This is one of our aims, to get our young residents into volunteering, work or education - great job!
Welcome to our new support worker Steph...
This was her first shift working alongside our young people - it went really well as you can see. Steph hopes she will make a difference to young people's life's in her new role with us. We were lucky enough to have a group of workers from a company called RAPID7 help us at the charity allotment and Cornerstone for the day last week. The team split up, five of the team spent time at Cornerstone decorating two bedrooms and the garage door. While the other seven spent 6 solid hours digging and building down at the charity Allotment.
We want to say a huge thank you to Christina O'Conner who organised the day and to everyone who came and helped us on the charity allotment and at Cornerstone on the day. A massive thank you to ALFRESCO-Domestic window cleaning, who are donating a free window cleaning service to both of our charity houses every three months.
With the money raised so far we've managed to get this young man off the streets.
He moved into Cornerstone on Monday night, and slept in a warm comfy bed for the first time in 10 months. He is extremely grateful to each and everyone who helped in any way at all to enable this to happen. Especially to all of those who gave so generously to help raise his rent and deposit. He is now looking forward with great excitement and enthusiasm to starting his new life and is looking forward with much more hope for a brighter and happier future. Thank you to Waitrose in Windsor who have raised £548 for us through Community Matters. We appreciate all fundraising and support from Waitrose and will put this funding to good use within our project 'Cornerstone'.
We want to say a big thankyou to Tesco for sending a work party and some paint to decorate Cornerstone. We are really pleased with the results and the team were a great bunch of girls....... in the team is Laura Edwards who when she was 10 designed are logo for us !
